Information only

LakeRipple is a free guide that summarizes public information about lakes and ponds. Everything on the site, including fishing rules, seasons, stocking, access sites, beach results, invasive species, ice-out dates, maps, weather and fishing-time estimates, is provided for general information only. It is not legal, safety or professional advice, and LakeRipple is not a government agency.

Check official sources before you go

Rules and licenses. Fishing and boating regulations change every year and can change mid-season. The current official regulations, not this site, are what apply on the water.
Conditions. Weather, water levels, stocking, closures and access-site hours, fees and rules change often. Live data may be delayed, missing or from a station miles away.
Ice. No ice is ever guaranteed safe. Ice-out dates on this site are historical records, not a statement that ice is safe or open water is present. Check local conditions and ice thickness yourself before going on the ice.
Swimming. Beach test results and cyanobacteria (toxic algae) status can change daily. Check the state's current advisories, such as the NHDES Healthy Swimming Mapper, and stay out of water that looks discolored or scummy.
Maps. Maps and coordinates are approximate and are not for navigation.
Fishing times. Sun, moon and “best fishing times” are calculated estimates based on solunar theory, not a prediction or promise.

You are responsible for your own safety and for following the law. In an emergency, call 911.

The site links to government agencies, lake associations and businesses that we do not control. Some links are affiliate links, as explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. Those sites have their own terms, privacy policies and prices, and we are not responsible for their content, services or practices.

You may use the site for lawful, personal purposes. Please don't scrape, overload or interfere with the site.

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. Information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LakeRipple and its operator are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of the site, from information found on it, or from your use of any third-party site or service.
