131 lakes, from data published on each lake's page. See all states.
These lakes have at least one public boat ramp or trailer launch listed on their LakeRipple page; ramps marked resident-only or needing a resident permit sticker are not counted. Ramp records come from state access-site lists (for example NH Fish and Game, Minnesota DNR and NYSDEC) and, where a state publishes no list, from boat ramps mapped on OpenStreetMap. Each lake page shows the ramp type, owner, parking and fees where the source gives them. Horsepower limits, no-wake rules, inspection stations and resident-only ramps are common, so read the lake page's boating rules and confirm with the site owner before you tow.
131 Maine lakes qualify today. Sorted by the number of ramps, then by lake size. For every lake in the state, see Maine lakes & ponds.
