US lakes & pondsUS lakes & ponds24 lakes, from data published on each lake's page. See all states.
These lakes have at least one public access site that the state agency or map data describes as carry-in, hand launch, cartop or small-craft only, the kind of spot where you carry a kayak, canoe or paddleboard to the water instead of backing a trailer down a ramp. Access-site records come from state fish and wildlife and natural resources agencies, plus OpenStreetMap where a state publishes none. Many trailer ramps also work for paddlers, but they are not counted here unless the record lists hand launching. Parking, fees and permit stickers vary, so check the lake page and the site owner before you go.
24 Florida lakes qualify today. Sorted by the number of hand-launch sites, then by lake size. For every lake in the state, see Florida lakes & ponds.
